AJGA American Junior Golf Association

The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered at Chateau Elan Resort in Braselton, Georgia. Established in 1978, AJGA organizes more than 100 elite junior golf tournaments annually—including state-level Florida events like the Florida Preview and Junior Open—serving nearly 9,800 junior members. AJGA offers structured competition via its Performance-Based Entry (PBE) system and supports juniors through programs like the ACE Grant and Leadership Links. The Association is widely recognized for alumni such as Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth, and Lexi Thompson, and works closely with sponsors like TaylorMade, Rolex, and adidas. The Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant is the AJGA Foundation’s flagship program offering financial assistance to talented junior golfers who aspire to earn a college golf scholarship but face financial barriers to competing nationally. Since its inception in 2003, the program has reimbursed millions in entry fees, travel, housing, membership, and equipment—empowering hundreds of juniors to compete in AJGA and select state or USGA events each year
